This is a Graph taken with the Vantage teamed up with the
Sonnax Sonaflow flow meter. I used the PCLink program to capture the
Sonflows cooler line flow of this 42RH transmission. I also added
the color key to help show what the Snaflow can 'see' for you in
cooler line flow. The Sonaflow is loaded with possibilities far
further than just cooler flow. |

seen a few of these broken, and are now installing the updated
bracket as a standard overhaul proceedure. |

Here is a Snap-on Scan Gra-Fix Movie frame of a 42RE with a
bad governor PSI solenoid. Replacing the governor solenoid only
fixed the condition. |

This is another movie frame taken with Snap-on's Scan
Gra-Fix program. It is a 1999 42LE with a bad Input sensor (TSS).

This is a captured screen of the Snap-on Vantage using the
PC Link program. It is a 4T80E transaxle with a bad turbine sensor.
Notice the glitch as the fequency drops to zero in the middle of the
graph. Because THIS sensor is so hard to replace, having the Vantage
to SEE the glitch before you remove the transaxle is very helpful.

Now this is a Snapshot taken with the MasterTech Scanner and
then the frame is captured with the Techview program from Vetronixs.
The vehicle is a 1996 truck that had a broken wire at the VSS.
Notcie the OSS varies much more than the calculated MPH.

This is a photo of a 4L60E PLASTIC 1-2 accumulator piston.
We change all the plastic 1-2 accumulator pistons to the older
aluminum style. |
